We began to review some of the skills from the previous weeks in Wonders so that we are prepared for the Unit 3 Assessment coming up! We practiced idioms, cause & effect, theme, and main ideas. Wow! The students continue to practice using the ACE writing strategy and it has really helped them to answer writing prompts.
In math, we wrapped up our time, volume, and mass unit. On Friday we took a unit test, which will come home next week. Miss Prettyman finished her social studies unit on learning about children from other countries. We even wrote a letter to one of these children.
