In honor of the New Year, we were trying some new things today in class. I would say "Class" in a silly way and the class would respond "Yes" in the same way! Ask your child about it! This is a fun and easy way to have students stop what they are doing and listen!
I was also inspired by another third grade teacher's blog! We watched Miss Rumphius and decided that we could make the world more beautiful with a New Year's Resolution! Students finished this sentence: Inspired by Miss Rumphium, I will make the world more beautiful by... Hopefully pictures to come! This is a beautiful story!
