Last week and the two days of this week, we read stories that answered the essential question "Why is working together a good way to solve problems?". We read "Anansi Learns a Lesson." The story is a folktale and it includes a lesson, as well as two animals working together. The other story we read was "Roadrunner's Dance," in which the roadrunner was created by other animals. The story was once again a folktale, in which the animals worked together to defeat the snake, who was being a bully. We also learned the types of nouns, including proper and common, as well as abstract and concrete. The class learned some new things! :-) We even logged onto the Wonders website and played the games, as well as listened to the stories. Here is the link! Can you remember your password!!?! I will send it home next week!
