Our last week of school in March was BUSY! We practiced, practiced, practiced for the NJ ASK test in May. The third graders wrote, read, and answered math questions! The students worked very hard and we got it all done in the nick of time!
In language arts, we continued Theme 10 about money. We will take our assessment when we return in April. Also, we continue to focus on parts of speech, including pronouns, proper nouns, adjectives, and verbs! I think we have become pronoun PROS!
We have continued to learn more about the cloud types. Each child was assigned a cloud, did research on the computer, and completed a short poster about the cloud. When we return, students will complete a short project to help present their research.
Don't forget!!! The trade fair is Monday, April 8th. I sent home a reminder on Thursday! Also, no review sheet was sent home on Thursday for math, as we will review when we return and take our test on Tuesday, April 9th.
